Amber is one of our AWESOME DayPlay Specialists! She has been a part of the Shaggy family since 2017, and brings over 8 years of experience working at various doggie daycares. She really knows dog behavior! If she's not with the DayPlay crew and her Shiba Inu, Monkey, you can find her watching movies, writing, music, or exploring thrift stores.

I LOVE Shaggy Pines and the joy it brings to members and their dogs! There is nothing better then seeing a dog running in the park with a huge smile on their face! It's wonderful to see people and their dogs walking the trails, getting exercise, and enhancing their bond! It's truly a special place.

CHELSEA STEIN
Clubhouse Staff
Chelsea moved to Michigan from Austin Texas. She has also lived in Colorado, and grew up in Minnesota. Chelsea has a background as a caterer, cake decorator, and an elementary school teacher. She joined Shaggy Pines a year ago with her two French Bulldogs, Pippa and Oscar. You'll see Pippa playing chase with all the big dogs and the park, where as Oscar tends to sniff around and say hi to everyone. She is so excited to meet everyone at the park!
KIM CASSIDY
Clubhouse Staff
Kim has been a member at Shaggy for almost 6 years and recently joined as our newest Clubhouse staff person. It all started with Patron and went to a full tres amigos with Corzo and now Don Julio as her Shaggy children. Kim co-parents the dogs with her mother, Doris. Kim’s love and commitment for animals started when she was young and has evolved through many phases of animal rescue and foster parenting. Professionally she worked in child protection and eventually moved into education as a K-8 Principal. She has taken her love for parenting and education but applies it to dog families now.
HEATHER GARBATY

Heather and her dogs have been park and shuttle members for quite some time, so she has already long-been a Shaggy family member! Heather is also a real estate agent with Keller Williams. She currently owns two Bernese Mountain Dogs named Gertie and Greta. Heather brings a ton of experience and compassion to Shaggy and we are so proud to have her.
WHITNEY LASSINI

Whitney is our newest team member at Shaggy Pines, but she has been a member for over five years. You've probably seen her walking the park with her two mini aussies, Luca and Leelu. Outside of the park Whitney is a successful jewelry designer, and an awesome designer that creates marketing materials for small businesses including Shaggy Pines!
DAVE WEAVER
Maintenance
Dave has been with Shaggy Pines over five months now, and lends his hand with maintenance, snow plowing, and poop detail. Dave enjoys coming to the park with his Aussie Doodle, Gunner, to mingle with members and their dogs. When he's not helping us out at the park, Dave is likely tinkering, dabbling in wood working, or playing golf.

Mike is the Shaggy Pines Maintenance Man! Mike does it all!
JEANNE LEWIS
Jeanne is a dedicated animal lover with a huge heart! She also happens to be one of our lead groundkeepers! Jeanne started West Michigan Therapy Dogs back in 2001- pretty cool!
